Oslo Guidebureau has specialized in guided tours of Oslo for over 25 years, serving individuals, businesses, and groups – always happy to offer that little extra, whether it’s city walks or insights into Oslo’s many hidden cultural gems..
It's the guide that makes the big difference on the tour, pointing out details, telling funny stories and anecdotes, and managing to keep the interest of the group. We have 25 years of experience in matching the right guests with the right guide. We're very proud of that, and we have many customers who come back again and again, and many who want to book the same guide for different tours year after year.
All our guides are authorized Oslo Guides who have passed a comprehensive exam.
Collectively, the guides cover more than 25 different languages.
Working conditions are also an important part of sustainability, and at Oslo Guidebureau, we only use certified Oslo Guides.

We have collected some of our most asked questions in one FAQ.
In 2025, our minimum price for a guide for up to 3 hours is 300 NOK per person, with a minimum of 15 people. This applies to themed walking tours.
If it is a regular 3-hour sightseeing tour, the price is 3300 NOK, and for each additional hour, the price is 750 NOK.
On public holidays and during working hours between 06:00-08:00 and 20:00-23:00, a 50% surcharge applies. After 23:00 until 06:00, a 100% surcharge applies.
If transportation or museum entry is required, this will be an additional cost.
A standard 3-hour sightseeing tour by bus typically includes a short tour around the city center, a visit to Vigeland Park, and a photo stop at Holmenkollen. Large parts of downtown Oslo are now pedestrian zones and cannot be seen from the bus. The tour can, of course, be fully customized according to your preferences, for example, by replacing Holmenkollen with one of the museums on Bygdøy – or how about a visit to our magnificent City Hall? Plan for approximately 1 hour per attraction.
