We have collected some of our most asked questions in one FAQ.

In 2024 our minimum price for an authorized Oslo Guide is 3150 NOK. This price includes an authorized Oslo Guide for up to three hours. There is no additional charge for languages. Museum entrances and transportation will be charged in addition. Every extra hour is 700 NOK in addition. Please be aware that we charge additionally 50% on holidays and that there is a 50% price increase for working hours between 20.00 - 23.00 / 06.00 - 08.00, and 100% between 23.00 -06.00.

2. What is included in a typical sightseeing tour?

En standard 3 timers sightseeing med buss inkluderer gjerne en kort tur rundt sentrum, en tur gjennom Vigelandsparken og et fotostopp på Holmenkollen. Store deler av Oslo sentrum er nå fotgjengersone og kan ikke sees fra buss. Turen kan selvsagt skreddersys helt etter eget ønske, for eksempel ved å bytte ut Holmenkollen med et av museene på Bygdøy - eller hva med et besøk i vårt flotte Rådhus? Beregn ca 1 time per attraksjon.

4. How many guides do you have?

We have more than 250 authorized guides in Oslo, as well as good contact with skilled guides in Bergen, Stavanger, Stockholm and Copenhagen.

5. How do I pay?

There are more opportunities. We are happy to send an invoice or link to payment by credit card. For our fixed tours such as City Walks, you can buy a ticket online or with VIPPS.

6. Can you arrange transport?

Yes! We are very happy to help you with suggestions for your best Oslo experience. We work together with several excellent partners in Oslo and Oslo region. You can book cars, mini buses, busses, boats, ships, public transportation, kayaks, Oslo Pass and even helicopters through us.

7. Can you arrange entrance tickets to the museums for us?

Yes! We have voucher agreements with most attractions in Oslo. Our guides will make sure that you skip the line and can go right in.

8. How many languages can you get a guide in?

More than 250 authorized Oslo guides work for Oslo Guidebureau. All together these guides speak more than 25 languages. Some of the languages we offer are: Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, English, German, French, Finnish, Italian, Spanish, Catalan, Dutch, Arabic, Welsh, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Mandarin, Greek and Portuguese.

9. Do you have weather conditions on booked walking tours?

Unfortunately, we do not have a weather reservation. See cancellation deadlines below. But we can be helpful in changing the program if it rains heavily and you have booked a hike. Or - Put on rain gear and be surprised at how beautiful Oslo is even in bad weather!

10. What is the cancellation deadline?

If canceled 72 hours before the assignment starts, 50% of the trip's cost is paid. If canceled 48 hours before tour departure, 100% is due for payment.
