In the Heart of Oslo Walking Tour

Experience the highlights from the Oslo city centre.

Experience Oslo

Oslo is known for its rich history, spectacular architecture, amazing cuisine, breathtaking scenic views, and bustling nightlife. Spend a day in the city with Oslo Guidebureau and learn about how the city evolved over centuries to the modern, lively capital it is today. The walking tour covers major attractions in the city center.

Once all participants have arrived at the meeting point, your guide will greet you and brief you about the landmarks you'll cover during the sightseeing trip. First, you'll stop at the magnificent Akershus Fortress, which has witnessed many battles from the 14th century to the Second World War.

Next, you'll walk towards Kristiania Torg, a historically bustling city square, before continuing towards the Royal Palace. The Norwegian royals have resided here since its completion in the 1840s. The historic walking tour concludes on Karl Johan, near the Parliament. There are many eateries nearby where you can grab a bite and a hot drink. Please note that all hikes are at your own risk.
